TV/VCR Unit Our ultimate goal is to place a TV and VCR in a Christian home in every village of Indonesia.  It’s an ambitious goal because there are 68,000 villages covering over 17,000 islands.  It's much to big for any one person to do.  But God’s plan wasn’t for just one person to do this.  God has been using this ministry as a body ministry.  We do what we can; you do what you can; I tell my friends and they do what they can; you tell your friends and they help where they can.  It's the whole Body of Christ working together to reach the world.

VMD has been running for several years and has had great success.  We’re getting back reports of healings and people getting saved.  Christians who were lukewarm are being revitalized.  Husbands and wives that were separating are having their families restored.  Already VMD has placed “units” in over 150 villages at no cost to the people in the village.  These “units” consist of a TV, a VCR, and cassettes with 4 hours of Christian Programming every week.  Village In villages that are so remote that they don’t have electricity yet, we provide a car battery and an inverter to supply the power.  Then when the battery needs charging they take it to a nearby village that has a generator or power from the electric company and get it charged.

The process of placing a unit in a village starts by us looking for a Christian in a village.  We challenge them to be the light to their village.  In some cases they have been the only Christian in their village.  But with that TV and VCR in their home, they can invite their friends and neighbors over on a regular schedule to see wonderful Christian programming.  Sometimes Christians will hear about VMD from another village.  They then come to us requesting to become a part of the program.  We have many villages lined up just waiting for a unit.
